트웰브닷은 사람들이 놓치기 쉬운 뜻밖의 곳에서 아름다움을 포착하여 유려한 곡선, 단순 명료한 형태로 표현하여 시선을 사로잡는 작업을 한다. 양서류를 새로운 시각으로 바라보게 하는 Apocalypse Frogs, Boundary Issues, APO Frogs 시리즈와 춤의 역동적인 느낌을 고정된 형태에 담은 Performance, 모르고 지나치기 쉬운 문제를 재조명하는 Roadkill등의 다양한 작업을 통해 국내보다 해외에서 먼저 알려지기 시작해 2015년에는 전세계 토이 아티스트를 대상으로 하는 Designer Toy Awards의 Break-Through Artist상을 수상했다.
twelveDot’s work sheds light on beauty unnoticed by most, amplified through simple lines and voluptuous curves. His “Apocalypse Frog,” “Boundary Issues,” and “APO Frog” series aim at helping people see amphibians in new light, while “Performance” captures a dynamic image in a static sculpture, and “Roadkill” targets to bring awareness to ecological issues. Noticed early on by worldwide collectors for his original pieces, twelveDot was named the winner of the Break-Through Artist category at the 2015 Designer Toy Awards.
