THE PAGE GALLERY’s space reflects the philosophy of the architect Kim Gae-Cheon. His design philosophy is about the harmony of the universe based on the teachings of Zhangzi. The gallery space reflects the Taoist philosophy of Zhangzi. The gallery space represents the boundless space between heaven and earth where the existence is full and void at the same time.
The architect wanted to create a free and pure sensual space, unlike conventional gallery designs. The design reflects THE PAGE GALLERY’s perseverance to introduce creative and shphisticated art culture. The space is like a plain paper floating on clear water. The space becomes ideal when it is filled with light and art. It is the space that with holds all artistic creations and those who enjoy art.
