Truong Thanh was born on 1979 in Haiduong, Vietnam. He studied architecture at the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering from 1997 to 2002.In the process of learning and working in Vietnam, he has participated in several research architecture and the design competitions. By which, the highlight is scientific research about the housing, won gold medal WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), creative medal VIFOTEC (Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations) and some of the other prizes.Truong Thanh faced a lot of difficulties in persuading customers to accept his viewpoint on architecture. He noticed, want to make a work of architecture must depend very much on the other team, and most results are large discrepancies with the original spirit. But, if show a painting, the artist can fully-proactive with the color and canvas on his own. So, he switched to painting in mid-2013. The idea is to use the three-dimensional geometry, researches on the structures of objects and their response to forces. He said: “I want to let everyone see the beauty of structure through the intersecting flat planes by creating motion line and deals with the forces acting”.Truong Thanh’ paintings make us aware of space and the structure beauty; use geometry to convey pure feeling in creative art.
